Before the air reaches your hands, it must pass through a high-quality HEPA filter that removes 97.66% of bacteria and microbes, so that clean air is blown out. The HEPA filter is cleaned regularly by 2 internal UV lamps, killing the germs that are collected by it. If desired, the UV lamps can be switched off.
